Since 1995 Dr. David Trobisch has served as a scholarly consultant for American Bible Society in New York. From 2007 to 2015 served on the Board. Among other activities he has participated in revisions of translations, has given lectures on four continents promoting the work of ABS, has helped with coordinating projects between the German and American Bible Societies, has participated in training events for translators, and was part of the team that developed a strategic direction document. He is also involved in several projects concerning scholarly editions of the Greek New Testament.
Most of the work Dr. David Trobisch does for ABS is done in coordination with the Nida Institute for Biblical Scholarship, the scholarly arm of American Bible Society.
